We didn't have a theme in school this week...well we did...packing. We are heading down to Southern Missouri to visit part of my husbands family. We are all super excited as it has been 6 months since we have been down there. They haven't met Weston yet, so it will be fun showing off the 4th cutest kid in the world (a little biased I know!). We tried to stay busy with the three days we did have at home.
Memory verse for this week:
1 Timothy 4:12-- Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young. Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in faith, and in purity.

The kids emptied out their piggy banks and sorted their money. The girls then made predictions as to how much was in their piggy bank and then we worked together counting their money to see how close they were to their predictions. They were both way over. Easton even "pretended" to sort his out.

We then played store with a few items around the house.
The girls worked on reading words of things around the house and put the flash cards to correspond to where it said.
They then read off cards with color names on it and had to find an object that matched the corresponding color.
The girls worked on telling time. They matched up digital times to what their clock flashcards said.
Their spelling words are on my iPad, so they practiced writing them on their dry erase boards.
and we had a photography session in our basement for the 3 older kids...not really school, but I just had to show off the cutest 4 kids in the world:)
