Happy 6th Birthday to my sweet Jocelyn!

Our Jocelyn Rene turned 6 today!  She was born on August 14th, 2005 at 12:35 am weighing 9 lb 4 oz... .our third smallest!  It has been a delight to see her grow up...so fast...tear.  I can't wait to see what the next year holds for her.  She is getting eager to start the first grade this week!
Here are some recent pictures of Jocelyn and from her birthday party.  Thank you (from Jocelyn) to everyone who called or sent a message to her.  It means a lot to this little girl.  Apparently birthday's are important.
Jocelyn has been saving her money for a Belle dress....we surprised her with one for her birthday.

Sugar high!

My girls have been counting down for one full year for Sean's company party.  They had so much fun last year...they could not wait to go again.  Sean had some pretty big expectations to meet....they reminded him constantly of things that he needed to make sure he had....cotton candy, sno-cones, lemonade, bounce houses, and water balloons.  Well Sean met their expecations and they once again had a good time !  Before dinner the kids all had a sno-cone, cotton candy, and ice cream...and who knows how much lemonade...needless to say they weren't very hungry for the actual meal.  The countdown begins again....

Having tons of fun!
All smiles!
This little guy just sat around and took it all in.  He didn't make a peep the entire night!
Jumping on one of the bounce houses
Sliding down another bounce house
Easton had no clue what to do with the cotton candy...he kept trying to sweep the ground with it... He maybe thought it was a broom or dust thingy??
Homemade ice cream!! Yum!

Everyone eating!

For the LOVE of trains!

My sweet little 2 1/2 year old boy Easton...LOVES...LOVES....LOVES trains.  My girls liked them a lot when they were his age, but he LOVES them.  He could play for hours with his little Thomas and Friends train set.   Over the last few weeks he has been able to enjoy several train activities.

Easton with his Thomas and Friends train set...he sets the track up in various ways.
Enjoying his first train ride of the year at our zoo.  He can't stop talking about this memorable. HOT. ride.
He was BEYOND excited to be here.  You can't tell it in his face.  He is always so goofy when I take his picture.  He just stood their and stared in awe.  It is just a train on display in the Haymarket in downtown Lincoln.
Jocelyn took this picture of us, by a train mural in downtown Lincoln.
You can't tell from the picture but this is a train made out of steel.
Playing with the train at the Children's Museum...his tongue is out most of the time when he is concentrating hard on a task...this is so Sean's family.
Another --beyond excited-- moment for Easton (and the other kids)...they LOVED this!  This is from our South Dakota vacation...we visited Storybook Island and sure enough they had a train!

Beach day!!

I love, love, love taking the kids to the beach!  It is always something that I must check off on our summer to do list.  Ok...we live in Nebraska and we just have lake beaches, but my kids always enjoy playing in the water and sand.  My friend Erin and I have a little tradition of going to a local beach...3rd year and counting!  Here are a few pictures of the absolutely beautiful day that we spend in the water!

Best friends
Look at his hair blowing in the wind!  He loved the lake!
Last picture of this binkie...any ideas of where it ended up next?
Too much fun for one morning!
