Happy 4th of July! (and 5th)

Once again for the 4th of July we were in Hartville in Southern Missouri. It is a small town of...well I really don't know how many. Most people live in the rural areas. Is is about 6 1/2 hours if you are Sean and are driving with no kids. It takes me 9-10 hours to drive by myself with the kids. Trust me for sanity sake it is better if we take two cars. Anyways, for the 4th we attended the 1st annual Hartville United Event (can't remember the name). It was organized in only 2 weeks and I would say around 1000-1500 people showed up. Food, drinks, and snacks were provided...and get this... in the public city park the entertainment was local gospel singers....ok maybe you are saying...why are you making a point to say that. For those of you who live in Lincoln or Omaha and are reading this....when is the last time you have attended a city function and they played solely Christian Gospel music and everyone was content and there were no protests? It was wonderful!!! That is how it is down here! We have been to city parades and they actually stop and pray before the parade. The last Hartville City event we attended they were singing gospel music on the county courthouse steps. Anyways, it was a great 4th of July and we got to spend it with family. At dark they had a fireworks show above the bluffs.
Here are a few pictures of the day!
