Road trip of a lifetime part 2: Clifton Hill in Canada

If you missed my first three posts on our road trip of a lifetime part two you can check them out here:

Indiana Dunes State Park

Niagara Falls

Maid of the Mist

After the Maid of the Mist tour, the girls and I picked up some Dippin Dots and ventured up a fun little street called Clifton Hill. This street had all sorts of fun things to do with the family...arcades, bowling allies, candy stores, fun restaurants, putt putt, a ferris wheel, wax museums, Guinness Book of World Record museum, an upside down house, mazes...and the list goes on. You could definitely spend a lot of money on this street alone.

We met up with my sister again and went on the sky wheel (ferris wheel). It was hard to get pictures from inside the wheel because the glare of the plexiglass, but overheard views of the falls and city were great! I am glad we decided to visit this attraction.

We then took the girls to Rain Forrest cafe . I thought the girls would really enjoy the experience of the cafe with the animals, decorations, and thunderstorms, but I am not sure they cared about it. It is a really, really expensive restaurant and I don't think the food is worth the price that they charge.

After we visited the Rainforest cafe we walked around a bit and visited the Hershey Chocolate store for a few treats. The girls each picked out a cupcake and I got a shake and large cookie (to share of course!). It was a fun little store. I seriously could have eaten everything in sight!

Yum!

The next morning, the girls and I left my sister to head back to Clifton Hill. The girls had some of their own money to spend so they chose to spend it on a mirror maze. Unfortunately the maze wasn't open at 9:30 in the morning and no hours were posted on the door. The only attraction open was an arcade type place. The girls didn't mind and had a ton of fun running around playing the games. Their goal was to get 5000 tickets, however they only ended up getting 450. We had the entire place to ourselves, so it was a lot of fun and they came away with a few fun prizes!

Stayed tune for tomorrow's post!!
